Bruce was born in the early seventies. He always loved to travel since he was little. He worked as a cook, an interior designer, a media consultant for tv stations, store owner, photographer, music producer and music video director. But his favorite job is to design cloth for men and women.
His own personal guideline is an order for the person who wears his creations: "wear it & love it" .
His first collection was presented fall 2001. Now he has 3 different collections:

"...the people have to feel free and easy in my creations, ...maybe a little funky or nasty",says Bruce. "...fashion should be fun and show your own special personality! ... try to make fading stars shine new again" . Bruce la Cruz is a big traveler. To be exact, he is a "backpacker". He is travelling all over the world. Brazil, Agentina, China, India (his most inspiring place), Mexico and Russia. Only with a map and his backpack. And everywhere he is, he collects fabrics, patterns, colours and jewelery to influence every collection with a little magic from his adventures. So every collection depends on the next adventure trip! In his productions - like campain shootings, commercial clips or music videos - he always lays the focus on telling a story. Bruce said: "people should see the message of the whole collection in 3 or 4 seconds. On print or video. It should tell them, what was the reason for this collection. There should be a message, otherwise its boring. Its much more fun to wear a piece with a nice story around it." Next to his own collection he directs music videos, produces fashionshows and does celebrity styling.

By travelling around the world I developed a different take on apparel, driven by free and easy esthetic . Inluenced by my continuously evolving style of naughtiness.,I devided my Collection in three categories:
generated by a cocktail of mixed emotions.
melds sophisticated style with highly wearable design.
mostly accessories.
